Make life appear like a good plan.
Poised and confident, stand as tall as you can.
Glass half empty or half full, who knows?
Just make the best of whatever upon you, life throws.

It appeared as if life had been replicated,
The patterns reverberated with each breath even as I tip-toed..
The intricacies of thoughts and emotions grew deeper and finer,
Each time I looked back ,the finesse couldn’t be ignored .

The festival of colours, as we celebrate,
The skies desired to be colourful too.
Nature’s palette contained warm, infinite and fathomless shades,
I wish ours were also so profound, and not so few…!!

A tiny speck he was, rolling on the surface of the vast and boundless world,
The larger droplet, kept pleading to be careful, but was generally unheard.
If I come to you he said, I would lose my identity for sure,
Nevertheless my love for you is immense and pure.
The water beneath looks alluring and I envisage a jump into it very soon,
Then who knows I rise in the night with the tide, when in the sky appears the mighty moon.

As time unfolded I realised,
The realm of joy and tears.
It’s a perspective that I had built,
Or maybe some inbuilt fears.
The people and the situations,
The good, bad, funny,
They seem too trivial now,
All weathers seem joyous, rainy, chilly or sunny.
Whilst these surrounded me,
For times beyond any measure,
Each phase of life has in it,
Experiences beyond a treasure.
Every being seems to respond in a way that he thinks is right,
For another one that may be a disaster or selfishness of a height.
.
To keep ourselves unbothered of the other people and their ways,
Just remind yourself that’s their life, don’t interfere, that’s what Karma says.

He stood there moltan like wax,
As he heard that he was a father now.
His eyes were wet with tears of joy,
He wanted to be there, but didn’t know how..
His duty to the motherland held him back,
He was a soldier first, he knew in his heart.
But the same heart whispered that he was a human too,
From his emotions, how should he part?
Days, months and years flew by,
And the visits to home were few and rare
The achromatic journey of life moved on,
Of love from the family he missed his share.
The children grew up and moved on to new directions,
The wife still waited for togetherness though,
She knew he was the finest one,
Even if life’s boat alone she had to row.
Rock he was, strong and steady,
With his shoulders broad and wide.
His absence never meant he didn’t love them,
Just that his life wasn’t a very smooth ride.

With the moon above and the sun appearing beneath,
I landed dreaming of a place from anxieties which would sheath.
The gold in the sky whispered with a smile,
Try creating this balance within you for a while.

I noticed him slowly fading away,
I am a fan of his dexterity to evolve.
Even though the planet seemed busy with the sun,
The moon would never cease to revolve.
He knows his absence would lead to very dark nights,
Hence like a father he is forever around,
We may or may not acknowledge his presence,
But when the vision gets obscure, he can always be found.

The streets looked huddled and full of hustle bustle,
He was just steering his way through.
Amongst faces, few masked and few appearing naive,
Contemplating, which was fake and which was true

I was contemplating, how impregnable humans have emerged..!
Almost anything they seem to have a controlled, even a river’s flow.!!.
Precisely the same time my child opened the window shades.,
And the sun whispered, “I am your power point, don’t be pretentious, kindly go slow. “
