If I Could Host a Dinner

If you could host a dinner and anyone you invite was sure to come, who would you invite?

I’d call the wise, the kind, the true,
The ones who see a soul right through.
Not just the famed with stories grand,
But those with warmth in heart and hand.

A poet, a monk, and my children too,
With wonder wide and joy so true.
And if love came and took a seat,
That night, the stars would taste so sweet.

Rhythms Within

What time do you go to bed and wake up currently?

I rest when the stars begin to gleam,
And rise with calm before day’s first beam.
No fixed alarms, just nature’s nudge,
My inner clock refuses to budge.

While the world chases minutes and hours,
I move by sunrays and moonlit showers.
Time, to me, is not a chain,
It’s a quiet flow I don’t restrain.

A Voice That Walks You Home

On what subject(s) are you an authority?

I dwell where thought and rhythm meet,
Where questions bloom and words repeat.
On truths that hide in human ways,
I guide, not preach, through tangled maze.

If there’s a realm where I belong,
It’s helping hearts make reason strong.
Not as a master carved in stone,
But as a voice that walks you home.

The Gentle Nudge

When the nest begins to shake and sway,
Don’t pray to make the fear go away.
It isn’t doom that knocks your door
It’s life inviting you to soar.

Wings don’t grow in perfect peace,
They stretch when certainties cease.
You’re not being pushed to fall apart
You’re being nudged to find your start.

Essence

Describe one simple thing you do that brings joy to your life.

I walk barefoot when the world feels loud,
On soil that doesn’t wear a shroud.
A simple act, a sacred thread,
That tethers me to peace instead.

It’s not escape, nor grand delight,
Just morning light and grounded flight.
One breath, one step, one heartbeat near
Joy lives quietly, always here.
