Amber Closure

What’s your favorite time of day?

Sunset is fulfillment in crimson light,
A gentle closure soft and bright.
It paints the sky with calm release,
A day’s last breath that whispers peace.

Joy Is in the Details

List 30 things that make you happy.

Morning light on a quiet face,
A handwritten letter, sealed with grace.
Laughter that spills without a cue,
A song that feels like it remembers you.

Pages that smell like old-time rain,
Music that sings, even on the quietest lane.
The weight of a blanket on a cold day,
A stranger’s smile lighting the way.

Fingers laced after a long, lost fight,

Peacock’s dance, as the clouds sieve the light.
A tree you always pass but never name,
Returning somewhere and it feels the same.

Cookies still warm from the oven’s heat,
Words that rhyme when your heart skips a beat.
A child’s voice calling out to play,
The scent of chai at the close of day.

Rain when you’ve nowhere to be,
A deep breath taken consciously.
The click of a pen starting something new,
Someone whispering, “I believe in you.”

Wind that plays softly with your hair,
Finding poetry just floating in air.
Realising you’ve healed from something vast,
A photograph that brings back the past.

Fireflies blinking in a hush-lit night,
The ease of not needing to be right.
Dancing barefoot across your room,
A hug that knows exactly when to resume.

A quiet smile from an elder’s lips,
A blessing offered with trembling fingertips.
The joy lies in almost everything,
It waits for us to start noticing.

Limits Pressed, Wings Unfolded

Have you ever broken a bone?

Bones I have not broken, but limits I have pressed,
Each day a quiet battle, a new fear addressed.

Breaking unseen walls, reaching new sky,
Growing stronger with every try.

Fruits of the Soul

List your top 5 favorite fruits.

Mango for joy, untamed and bright,
Melons for calm in soft sunlight.
Berries for love, both wild and true,
Grapes for bonds that time can’t undo.
Kiwi for depth, rough, yet rare,
A soul in each fruit, laid sweet and bare.

Life Plays On

What was the last live performance you saw?

The last live performance I saw was the sky,
painting dusk in hues no artist could try.
A mother’s hush, a guitar’s tune,
the wind’s soft waltz beneath the moon
life performs in silence and sound,
its stage is vast, its meaning profound.

There was no curtain call, no applause,
only a quiet pause that gave me cause
to realize: the truest shows are free,
they play in moments we rarely see.
And sometimes, the stars align just so,
in laughter, light, and a soft echo.

Miracles Happen

Do you have a quote you live your life by or think of often?

There’s something that always keeps me going,
A whisper deep, without me knowing.
“I believe in miracles,” pure and true,
In unseen hands that pull me through.
It lifts me up when hope feels thin,
A quiet strength that lives within.

They hide behind the darker shades,

Camouflage with the situations and circumstances.

The eyes that perceive them gleam with bliss,

‘Cause they are the opportunities, the golden chances.
