What alternative career paths have you considered or are interested in?
Labels felt shallow, but purpose ran deep,
So I followed the whispers that others let sleep.
I chose craft over career, soul over gear,
And life became my work, year after year.
What alternative career paths have you considered or are interested in?
Labels felt shallow, but purpose ran deep,
So I followed the whispers that others let sleep.
I chose craft over career, soul over gear,
And life became my work, year after year.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I’ve walked through things I once feared to see,
Loneliness, responsibility, both shaping me.
I wasn’t born strong, life taught me to be,
And being married to a soldier set that spirit free.
Do lazy days make you feel rested or unproductive?
Lazy days are the ones for introspection,
When silence feels like true connection.
The world may run, I let it be,
For peace begins when I meet me.
What makes a good neighbor?
The one whose presence need not be loud,
You may share a meal, or just the same cloud.
Days may pass without a word or call,
Yet their smile feels like sunlight on your wall.
Their home, in quiet ways, imparts
A flavor that lingers in your heart.
What could you try for the first time?
I could try stillness without a plan,
To simply be, not just outrun what I can.
To let life unfold, not chase or strive,
Just trust the art of being alive.
What principles define how you live?
I don’t live by rules carved in stone,
But by a purpose I’ve made my own.
It shifts, it breathes, yet stays sincere,
My compass within, forever clear.
What have you been putting off doing? Why?
I’ve been putting off the things I know,
That ask me still to learn and grow.
Some roads aren’t meant to start in haste,
Even waiting is a part of the race
When was the first time you really felt like a grown up (if ever)?
The day I knew I was responsible for me,
I found both strength and liberty.
Not in control, but gentle care,
To hold my heart and still be there.
If you had a million dollars to give away, who would you give it to?
I’d gift it where hope has lost its name,
Where light still flickers beneath the rain.
For giving is not about wealth or fame,
It’s setting a soul back into flame
What’s something you would attempt if you were guaranteed not to fail.
I’d pour my heart into healing each soul,
Mending the cracks that once took the toll.
I’d plant more faith where fear once grew,
And teach the world what gratitude can do.
