Outdoors, for us meant socializing, we have grown reciting, running and playing around,
Much deeper were the bonds that we built, ’cause instead of internet, existed the playground.
Feelings were true, expressions boundless, we cried the real tears,
Our legs used to give up, but never the hearts, we laughed without any fears.
We never bothered how we looked, how old was the shirt we wore,
The swings were our creation, the food was mother’s preparation, what could we ask for more?

I was amazed at the warmth of her little fingers, marking maps within my hair,
Her entire collection was spread on the bed, with so much love and care.

Felt blessed and ecstatic to have her in my life, she’s my angel for sure.
