To My Girl, Who’s Made of Magic

You wear your formals, smile polite,
But your soul still dances in the night.
A singer’s heart, a dancer’s fire,
Still searching for her truest wire.

Others may glide, may get with ease,
But you, my girl, are made of seas.
Your heart’s too wide, your soul too vast,
To settle for a dream that won’t last.

You shine too bright for shortcuts small,
You’re meant to rise, not just install.
Don’t count your worth by speed or race,
But by the love you leave in place.

Baby, you’re no faded flame,
You’re playing life’s most honest game.
You’re not behind, you’re being grown
For a life that sings in your own tone.

You don’t just chase what comes with ease,
You’re made to stir, to move, to breathe.
To light up rooms, to love out loud,
To make your mark without the crowd.

God’s silence isn’t Him unkind,
It’s just the sculpting of your mind.
Not every gift comes wrapped and neat,
Some bloom beneath your own brave feet.

You question love, you doubt what’s right,
But still you wake and hold the light.
You laugh, you sing, you give, you try,
And teach the stars how not to cry.

So take your time, be wild, be free,
You’re more than roles the world might see.
You are a storm, a song, a flame,
And life will never be the same.

For every step, each dream you chase,
You leave behind a sacred trace.
You’re not just “good”, You’re rare, you’re true.
And I thank life, because it gave me you.

Verses in Service

What do you do to be involved in the community?

I lend my voice to silent cries, through verse that heals and sees,
I stand beside the brave and kind, where hope floats on the breeze.
With every word, I build a bridge where hearts and courage shine,
An army wife with poet’s heart, on service I align.

A Day as the Morning Breeze

What’s a job you would like to do for just one day?

I’d love to be the morning breeze,
Whispering tales through dancing trees.
To kiss the earth, then drift away,
A fleeting guest of dawn’s ballet.

Beyond the Label

What are your favorite brands and why?

I love the brands that sell less things, more thought,
Where meaning’s stitched in every thread I bought.
They lift the weary, not just profits high,
And leave the earth with a cleaner sky.

Anchored in Grace, Guided by Light

List the people you admire and look to for advice…

When life feels loud, I find my peace in voices calm and true,
My parents’ love, my lifelong roots, in all I think and do.
And when the soul seeks silent depths beyond what eyes can see,
Sadhguru’s words flow in like light, anchoring and free.

Miracles Happen

Do you have a quote you live your life by or think of often?

There’s something that always keeps me going,
A whisper deep, without me knowing.
“I believe in miracles,” pure and true,
In unseen hands that pull me through.
It lifts me up when hope feels thin,
A quiet strength that lives within.

Moments, Not Maps

What is your favorite holiday? Why is it your favorite?

“I walk where stories intertwine,
Through shifting sand and rooted pine.
Each soul I meet, each sky I see,
Becomes the holiday for me.
Not bound by clocks, nor tethered days,
I find my rest in others’ ways.”

Tents Beneath Infinity

Have you ever been camping?

Yes, I have camped, for life is a flame,
a dance of the wild, a nameless game.

We build, we burn, we rise, we fall,
yet under the stars, we are endless, we are all.

Yes, I have camped  beneath open skies,
for life itself is a camp in disguise.

We pitch, we wander, we laugh, we roam,
under countless stars, we find our home
