The Real Win

They sold me dreams in deadlines wrapped,
But peace kept slipping through the cracks.
A title’s shine can’t warm the soul,
When joy is taxed to meet the goal.

I chased applause, ignored the ache,
Till silence taught me what’s at stake.
Now, I rise with softer light
Not to conquer, but to feel right.

Because the real win isn’t the race,
It’s finding calm in your own pace.

If I Could Host a Dinner

If you could host a dinner and anyone you invite was sure to come, who would you invite?

I’d call the wise, the kind, the true,
The ones who see a soul right through.
Not just the famed with stories grand,
But those with warmth in heart and hand.

A poet, a monk, and my children too,
With wonder wide and joy so true.
And if love came and took a seat,
That night, the stars would taste so sweet.

Rhythms Within

What time do you go to bed and wake up currently?

I rest when the stars begin to gleam,
And rise with calm before day’s first beam.
No fixed alarms, just nature’s nudge,
My inner clock refuses to budge.

While the world chases minutes and hours,
I move by sunrays and moonlit showers.
Time, to me, is not a chain,
It’s a quiet flow I don’t restrain.

Painted Tomorrows

What are you most excited about for the future?

The future is an imagination, bold,
Not something fixed or bought or sold.

It lives in dreams that stretch and rise,
In silent hopes and open skies.

We shape it not by fear, but art,
With every beat of a believing heart.

I’m eager for dawns I’ve yet to see,
For stories still unfolding in me.

What Could I Let Go Of

What could you let go of, for the sake of harmony?

The need to win each fleeting fight,
The urge to always prove I’m right.
The weight of pride, the stubborn thread,
To let soft silence speak instead.

Barefoot and Beyond

Describe your most memorable vacation.

It wasn’t the place but how I felt,
Where worries vanished and time just knelt.
Barefoot joy beneath the wide sky,
And silence spoke more than words could try.
